\nAirport code is KUL(IATA) and WMKK(ICAO). It has 3 terminals and 3 runways with 4,000m(14R\/32L, 14L\/32R and 15\/33).
\nKUL is the main airport of Malaysia airlines and AirAsia<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\nMain terminal and satellite A were designed  with the concept \u201cAirport in the forest.Forest in the airport\u201d by Kisho Kurokawa and constructed by Japanese general constructors and opend on 30th June 1998. It is called \u201cKLIA1<\/strong>\u201d.Main terminal is used mostly by Malaysia airlines and sometimes by Malindo  for their domestic flights or short international flights, so most of ships you can see are 737.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nIt was opened as LCC terminal <\/strong>in 2014 at 2km west from KLIA1. It was constructed together with outlet malls, you can enjoy shopping and reataurants<\/span>. It is connected to KLIA1 by train or free shuttle buses.
\nThere used to be a temporary LCC terminal at right opprsite side of airport, where currently cargo terminal is located, from 2006 to 2014. Old LCC terminal was desigined to change cargo terminal afterward.When Airasia found the capacity had got full, they tried to construct their own airport but the prime minister then did not approve their plan and he ordered KLIA2.<\/p>\n

\n<\/strong>I do not have any records by myself so it is just from my experiments but remember I have seen there are more north wind operation (32\u30fb33 opearation ) than south wind operarions (14\u30fb15 operations).<\/strong> I have visited KUL about 10 times in the past I saw south wind operation only 1 time in summer. I sometimes see KUL opearations by flightrader, I can say most of south wind operations (14\u30fb15 operation) were in summer.(Just seen from my experiments, it should be from June to September)<\/strong>

\nUnder north wind opeeration(32\u30fb33 operation),<\/strong> <\/span>most flights related KLIA 1 land to 32L and take off from 32R, most of those related to KLIA2 land to and take off from 33.<\/strong> However It is not applicable to all flights, I saw some flights related to KLIA1 landed to 32R, some flights related KLIA2 landed to 32L and some flights related to KLIA2 took off from 32L.
\nAnd I saw some 32L departures and 32R arrivals when there were system trouble occuerd and some time a year.
\nUnder south wind operations (14\u30fb15 opertions),<\/strong> <\/span>I saw flights related to KLIA1 landed to 14L and took off from 14R but the 1 time I encountered was 14L departures and 14R arrivals.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nWe can see not only many fleets of Malaysia airlines and Airasia which base KUL but also can see many flights of middle east airlines  such as Iraqui airlines, Mahan Air and Saudia , thanks to the relationships between Malaysia and middle east countries. Especially Emirates, Saudia and Qator have several flights in a day.And, in the past, Iran air used to have the last regular flight with their 747SP.<\/strong>

\nDuring the pilgrimage periods of Islam, there are  some charter flights for pilgrimage called hajj flight.<\/strong> I could see some hajj flights by 747 of flynas in 2018. But it seems not to be seen every year, I saw some year with no such flights so we need to check the flights carefully.
\nThese days, Airasia started new flights to Jedda and Malaysia airlines started operating some flights to Jedda with A380,  there may be more supplies than in the past so I cannot say anything about the future<\/span> but I must come to KUL if I see some hajj flights by flynas 747 because they have changed their colors to new original full color(\uff3e\u2200\uff3e)<\/p>\n

\nMany people have already known, but there are some classic 747s are placed in KUL<\/strong>. Those the most famous are the 2 beside 14L\/32R.<\/span><\/strong>
