■概要: Summary
25Lエンドの対岸にある香港天文台付近の撮影ポイントです。東涌(Tung Chung)からフェリーで10分の沙螺灣(Sha Lo Wan)埠頭から徒歩で15分程度の丘の上にあります。
This point is located across the sea from 25L end and beside Wind Profiler Station.
It is on the hill which can be accessed by about 15 minutes' walk from 沙螺灣(Sha Lo Wan) ferry pier which we can reach by 10 minute's ferry from 東涌(Tung Chung).
沙螺灣(Sha Lo Wan) には他にもうひとつポイント(山ポイント)がありますが、一般的に沙螺灣(Sha Lo Wan) ポイントといわれているのは、このポイントになります。
There are 2 points near 沙螺灣(Sha Lo Wan), this point is the one that people usually call as 沙螺灣(Sha Lo Wan) point. (The another is mountain point.)
ここからは視界を遮る物無く、25Lエンドが見渡せます。07R↑機であれば、07Rからの離陸機がほぼ全て撮影できます。
25運用の場合も25L↑機を整備地区やタワーなどを背景に離陸していく様子を撮影ことができます。
From this point, we can see around 25L end without any obstacles.
Under 07 operation, we can see all departures from 07R. And during airport operates 25, we can see 25L taking off with the back of maintenance area or control towers.
天文台の門の前に写真つきの案内があること、お立ち台や道をコンクリートで整備、かつ視界を遮る木々を除去している等工事をしていることから、ほぼ公式の撮影ポイントと思っていいと思います。
Considering that there is a photo attached guide of this point beside wind profiler station gate, ground of the point and paths are made by concretes, and they cut off the trees for photographing, I can say this point is officially admitted point.
また、沙螺灣(Sha Lo Wan)フェリー乗り場からの道中に公衆トイレがあるのもポイントだと思います。ポイントからトイレまでは約5分程度になります。
And you can find toilets on the way from 沙螺灣(Sha Lo Wan) ferry pier, this also is a good point. It takes about 5 minutes from this point to the toilets.
⇧ 特に秋～冬の夕方は綺麗に西日が当たります★。
Especially from autumn to winter, sun light hit the planes nicely in the afternoon ★.

・07R↑タキシング
07Rから上がる機体は大半がから滑走路に入るため、目の前を通過していくのがよく見えます。
Most of the departure flights take off from 07R taxi and enter to the runway by or, they pass by in from of us and can be seen well.
・07R↑タキシング〜貨物機: Cargos〜
空港南側の貨物エリアにいた機体は一部近距離便がK3から滑走路に入りますが、大半がK1から入るので、目の前を通過します。
Most of the cargo flights which spot out from south side cargo terminal enter to the runway by K1, they taxi just in front of us and can be seen quite well.

2024年11月の香港空港の3滑走路運用開始から07R/25Lへの着陸も増えました。💕
After November 2024, when Hong Kong airport started 3 runway operation, compared with their 2 runway operation, we can see more airplanes which land to 07C/25R.💕
沙螺灣(Sha Lo Wan)ポイントでも、07Rに着陸する機体が目の前を降りてくのをみる機会が増えました。
So, at 沙螺灣(Sha Lo Wan), we also can see more 07R landing which fly-pass by just in front of us.
07R降りの機体は木々の後ろからいきなり現れるので、フライトレーダーを監視したり、とにかくエンジンの音には注意する必要があります。
But they suddenly cone from behind trees, we need to watch Flightradar and to be careful of the engine sounds.

⇧近距離で上がりの高い便の中には、管制塔が2本とも背景になることもあります。
: Some short-range flights may take off high with the back of 2 control towers.
⇧視程がよければ対岸のマンションがバックになることもあります。
: Under well visibilities, we may see some planes take off with the back of apartments on opposite side of the sea.
⇧長距離便の貨物便の離陸です。駐機場の機体やHAECOの整備工場をバックに上がっていきます。
Some long-range cargo flights take off with the back of spotting planes and HAECO maintenance factories.
・その他: Others
⇧到着した貨物機が07R/25Lを渡るところですが、視程がいいとターミナルや駐機機がいい感じでバックになると思います。
: Arrived cargo crossing 07R/25L. If the visibilities good, we can see them with terminal and spotting planes back.
■撮影環境 : Conditions

25Lエンド付近の機体で200mm程度になります。
It should be 200mm～ to the planes taxing around 25L end.
・太陽光線 :Sun light conditions
沙螺灣(Sha Lo Wan)ポイントでは、冬は概ね一日順光(夕方が逆光)のイメージです。ターゲットは07Rからの離陸機ですが、機体が180℃向きを変えていきますので、どの時間帯でもどこかしら順光のタイミングがあると思います。特に秋～冬は西日が綺麗に機体に当たります。
In winter, most of the plane's taxing on the runway (07R) are follow to the light. They should be the departures from 07R, we are to see they turn 180° so they should have at least one time they follow sun light. Especially in Autumn and Winter, westering sun shines hit to airplanes bodies beautifully.
逆に夏至の季節(5月後半～7月いっぱい)は一日逆光、それ以外の季節は概ね午前中順光、午後から逆光になりはじめます。
On the other hand, in summer, especially summer solstice season (from late May to beginning of August) we are to see almost all shots from this point should be back the lights whole day. Except this season, many shots in the morning should be follow the light and getting back to the light afternoon.
■注意事項等 : Attentions
①日陰がないので: There are no shades
現地は日陰がないので、熱中症や日焼け対策をしっかりとしましょう。
There are no shades, please be careful of and prepare against heatstroke and sunburns.
②フェリーの本数が少ないので
There are not many ferries
フェリーの便数も少なく(約2時間に1本)、なかなか帰れないので、長時間いることになると思います。食料、特に熱中症対策の水分などは多めにご用意ください。
There not being enough many ferries (almost one in every 2 hours), I believe we are to stay here for long time, please much prepare for foods and, especially, much water in case for the heatstroke.
フェリーが満席で乗れないような時は、強制的に次の便か山道を1時間半(慣れた人間で)歩いて帰ることになりますので、行きも帰りもフェリー乗り場には早めに着くようご注意を
！以前帰りのフェリーが10分早く着いて、時刻表の時間まで待たずに出たことがあります。特に最終のフェリーになる場合はお早め乗り場まで行かれることをオススメします。
When the ferry gets full, you must wait for the next ferry or walk about 1 and half hours (But this time is for the person who knows well around here). Please arrive at ferry piers earlier.
! I have seemed the ferry arrived at 沙螺灣(Sha Lo Wan) 10 minutes earlier, but they did not wait for the departure time. So, I strongly recommend you arrive at piers earlier especially when you plan to take last one.
③結構例の小さな生き物もいますので
: There are many such small creatures
蚊をはじめとする虫もたくさんいるので、虫よけや、長袖の装備もご用意を
There are many insects such as mosquitoes please bring insect repellents and long sleeves.
④歩きやすい靴で: Please wear walking shoes
道はコンクリートで整備されていますが歩きやすい靴でご訪問ください。
Even the roads being made by concretes but please wear the shores which are suitable for walking.
■アクセス: Access
アクセスは東涌からフェリーで10分、フェリーを降りた後徒歩15分程度になります。徒歩はそんなにアップダウンもないです。
フェリーのない時間帯に徒歩1時間半で来たこともありますが、現実的でないので割愛します。
The access is 10 minutes ferry from 東涌(Tung Chung) and about 15 minutes' walk after ferry. There are not so much up and down you can walk at ease.
I used to come here only on foot at no ferry time, but it took at least 1 and half hours so I do not describe it here.

①東涌フェリー乗り場までの行き方 : How to reach 東涌(Tung Chung) ferry pier
A: 空港から直接向う場合 :From Airport
S56のバスにお乗りいただき、東涌(Tung Chung)駅の次の停留所で降りると目の前が東涌フェリー乗り場になります。
Please take S56 bus and get off it at NEXT stop from 東涌(Tung Chung) station. The bus stops in front of the 東涌(Tung Chung) ferry pier.
B: 東涌駅からの場合 :From 東涌(Tung Chung) Station
東涌駅からは徒歩で約10分程度になります。なお、途中の歩道橋までは觀景山に歩いて向う場合と同じです。
About 10 minutes walk from 東涌(Tung Chung) Station. The route is partialy (Until the footbridge) same as the way to 觀景山(Scenic Hill).

↓⑥トイレの先を右に曲がり橋を渡り、左へ
↓⑥Please turn right and accross the bridge, and turn left.
↓⑦先にある広場を通り抜けてください

↓⑧広場から少し進むと2手に分かれるので、左の坂を登ってください
↓⑧Ater the square you can find a branch.Please go up the slope on LEFT side.
↓⑨数分で坂を登りきり、天文台の門にたどり着きます
