■概要: Summary
・概要: Summary空港南の小山、觀景山頂上の展望台です。空港の東側を南から一望できます。
This point is a viewing platform on the hill named 觀景山(Scenic Hill), which is located south side of airport. We can see around the east part of airport from south.

・アクセスや環境
: Access and environment
空港からだと25分(バス10分+徒歩15分)で東涌 (Tung Chung) 駅からだと徒歩30分(途中にトイレあり)です。登山道の最初が少しきついですが、後は尾根で楽です。
It takes around 25 minutes from airport (10 minutes bus and 15 minutes' walk), or around 30 minutes' walk from 東涌 (Tung Chung) station (but there is a toilet on the way). It may be hard at the first 10 minutes' walk on the mountain trail, but latter half of it is not so hard.

屋根やベンチもあるので、突然の雨も大丈夫です。トイレ無しを除けば、過ごしやすい環境だと思います。
There being a roof and benches, you can take photos even in rain. Except no toilets there, you can stay at ease.

■構図とターゲット: Angles and the targets
・07R↑
07R離陸機を撮影する時に香港らしい背景が欲しい場合でT2 Sky Deckが逆光の季節や時間帯はこちらになると思います。
If you want to take planes taking off from 07R with Hong Kong like back, this point will help you when airplanes seen from T2 Sky Deck are back to the light.

便によっては管制塔やターミナルをバックに撮ることができます。(⁠◍⁠•⁠ᴗ⁠•⁠◍⁠)角度がよければ最高です✨
また、タキシング機も一部撮れます。
We may sometimes see airplanes taking off with the back of terminals and control towers. (⁠◍⁠•⁠ᴗ⁠•⁠◍⁠)　Especially when planes take off with best angles they must make us excited. ✨
We also can see some planes taxing. ただ、距離があるので500mm(25換算)でもトリミングが必要になります。
But this point being far from airport, even they are taken with 500mm (full size) most shots need trimming afterwards.

・25L↓
〜3滑走路運用以後✨〜
: 25L↓〜After 3 runway operation started✨〜
2024年11月の香港空港の3滑走路運用開始から07R/25Lへの着陸も増えました。💕
After November 2024, when Hong Kong airport started 3 runway operation, compared with their 2 runway operation, we can see more airplanes which land to 07C/25R.💕
時間帯を選びますが25運用時の25L降りの機体が対岸のマンション、海、またターミナルをバックに降りてくるので、普段と違った香港の画像が撮れるかと思います。
(※)Needing to consider the time we try, we can enjoy seeing some airplanes approaching to 25L with the back of tall apartments on the opposite side, sea and terminals. They must be rare and beautiful angles, I believe.

25L降りについては觀景山(Scenic Hill) からは距離がありますので、時間帯や気温によってはメラメラが大量発生して細部が難しい時間帯もありますので、ご注意ください。
Please be sure that 25L landings are so far from 觀景山(Scenic Hill) that heat haze caused by high temperature and so on, may sometimes spoil airplanes details.

個人的意見ですが、増えたといっても、そんなに便数もあるわけではないので、気温のまだ低い朝にトライしてメラメラが出てきたら飛行機に寄れる車寄せ(南)に移動でしょうか。
(光線的にもこの動きになると思います。)
This is just one of my personal opinions and routines that we should start spotting in the morning and when we see heat haze starts bothering our spotting qualities, we should move to T1 carriage pouch (south), where we can stay closer to 25L landing.
(We may act same if we follow the sun light direction, I believe.)

We can look down east side of airport from south. (⁠◍⁠•⁠ᴗ⁠•⁠◍⁠)

・07R離陸: 07R taking off ⇧上がりの角度がいいと、管制塔が2本とも入ります。✨
If planes take off with nice angles, we can take it with 2 control towers back. ✨

⇧ミッドフィールドコンコースとセットになる場合もあります。
Some planes take off with the back of Midfield Concourse.

⇧長距離便で上がりが低いと第1ターミナルが背景になる場合もあります。
Some long-range flights take off lower with background of Terminal 1.

⇧海側に建設中のタワーやターミナルをバックに撮れることもあります。
We may see some airplanes taking off 07R with the back of control tower and terminals which are now under construction on seaside.

・タキシング: Taxing
⇧タキシング中の機体です: Taxing planes

⇧25運用時は07Rエンド付近で滑走路に北側から入る機体が撮れます。

・貨物エリアに入る機体
: Entering cargo area ⇧数は少ないですが、貨物エリアに入る機体が撮れることもあります。
There not being such angles but we may see some airplanes entering cargo area.

〜3本体制から増えた構図〜
〜The angles which can be seen more after 3 runway operation started〜
・25L降り: 25L approaching
3本体制から主に貨物便(旅客便も増えました)ですが、07R/25Lへの降りが増えました。(⁠◍⁠•⁠ᴗ⁠•⁠◍⁠)
Most of them being cargo flights (and some passenger flights), after Hong Kong airport started 3 runway operation, I can say, the number of flights which land to 07R/25L increased. (⁠◍⁠•⁠ᴗ⁠•⁠◍⁠)

⇧25L降りの機体の場合、対岸の高層マンションと海や、ターミナルと高速道路などが背景に入ります。(⁠*⁠´⁠ω⁠｀⁠*⁠)💕
The airplanes approaching to 25L provide us such nice angles as with the back of sea and tall apartments standing on the opposite side, with the back of the terminals and highways. (⁠*⁠´⁠ω⁠｀⁠*⁠)💕

■撮影環境: Conditions
①使用レンズ: Lenses
どの構図でもフルサイズでは500mmでもトリミングが必要になります。
Regardless of the angles we try, we need to trim the photos afterward even we took them with 500mm (full size)

②光線状況: Sun light conditions
夏至の季節(5月後半～7月いっぱい)は一日逆光、それ以外の季節は概ね午前中順光、午後から逆光になりはじめます。冬は概ね一日順光(夕方が逆光)のイメージです。
In summer solstice season (from later May to beginning of August), we see almost all shots from here should be back the lights whole day. On other seasons, most of the shots in the morning should be follow the light and getting back to the light from noon. In winter, most shots should follow the lights.

■注意事項: Attentions
・山登り: Mountain trail
登山道に入って最初の10分ほどで高度のほぼ全てを一気に稼ぐので最初に急な階段が続きます。歩く時間の割にはここで体力を消耗しますのでご注意ください。
First 10 minutes of the mountain trail, we need to go up long steep stairs. They force us to go up almost all attitude here so we may get exhausted considering the time we walk.

・香港は亜熱帯の気候なので
Because Hong Kong belongs subtropical area
香港は亜熱帯の気候です。ターゲットが迫っているなど急いで上がろうとすると、かなり体力を消耗するので、行かれる際はターゲットまで時間に余裕を持ってご訪問ください(バス移動の際は待ち時間も考慮)。
Hong Kong belongs to subtropical climates, if you try to go up in hurry for the reason such as our targets are coming, we must get totally exhausted.
Please do not try such things but try to come much earlier to your targets (of course please consider the waiting time for buses)

階段もコンクリートで途中にベンチもあり、登山道も一応整備はされていますが、荒れているところもあるので、歩きやすい靴でご訪問ください。
Stairs and trails are made by concrete and usually get-well maintenance, but some parts are not, please come with the shoes which are suitable for walking.

現地は屋根有、ベンチ有で過ごしやすい環境ですが、日焼け止めや、虫よけ等の装備もお忘れなく。
There being roofs and benches but please do not forget sunscreens, insect repellents and an umbrella for sudden rains even it being fine in the morning.

・トイレは: Toilets
トイレは東涌駅方向へ25分歩くか、バス移動後の空港なので、トイレは行きと帰りに寄るようなイメージになるかと思います。急なスコールが降ることあるので、朝晴れていても、行き帰り用に念のため折り畳み傘ご用意ください。
We can go to the toilets only on the way to (from) 東涌(Tung Chung) station (25 minutes) or after arrived at (before coming from) airport by bus.

→到着階周辺の地図 : Map around arrival Hall
空港からはS1またはS56のバスにお乗りいただくと、最寄のバス停の『飛機燃料庫 (Aviation Fuel Tank Farm) 』に約10分ほどで着きます。S56の方が快速なので少し早いです。下車後徒歩数分で登山道に入り口に着きます。登山道は最初の10分程度の急な階段がきついですが、後半からは楽です。ベンチも途中にあります。階段を上りきってから数分で展望台に到着します。
S1 or S56 bus will lead you to the nearest bus stop 飛機燃料庫 (Aviation Fuel Tank Farm). It takes around 10 minutes from airport. Being express bus, S56 should reach earlier. You can reach to the entrance of mountain trail by around a few minutes' walk.
It may be hard walk on the long steep stairs at first 10 minutes but after the stairs trail is not so hard. You can find some benches and reach to the goal in a few minutes.

a: 飛機燃料庫(Aviation Fuel Tank Farm)のバス停で下車後は、進行方向へそのまま進みます
: After you get off at 飛機燃料庫(Aviation Fuel Tank Farm), please go forward
b: ラウンドアバウトを左へ進んでください。曲がった先すぐに登山道の入り口があります。
: Please turn left at the roundabout, you can find the entrance of mountain trail soon.→登山道から先はこちら
 →After you reach the entrance of mountain trail.

・東涌駅から : From 東涌 (Tung Chung) station
徒歩15分～20分程度で登山道の入り口に着きます。バスに乗って(飛機燃料庫 (Aviation Fuel Tank Farm)で降りるという手もありますが、十数分しか差がないし、途中にトイレもあるので、私はいつも徒歩で向かいます。行き方はそんなに難しくないので上記地図と下記の画像をご参照いただければ幸いです。
You can reach to the entrance of mountain trail in 15 to 20 minutes on foot from 東涌 (Tung Chung) station. You also can reach here by bus (getting off 飛機燃料庫(Aviation Fuel Tank Farm)) , there are not much difference between on foot, and you can drop in on toilets on the way, I always go there on foot from station.

〇A地点まで: To A point

A: 建物の脇の通りを真っ直ぐ進みます。
: Please go straight the road beside a building.

B: 突き当たりにトイレがあります。裏には歩道橋の入り口があります。
You can find a toilet at the end of road. There is an entrance of footbridge behind the toilet.

C: 歩道橋の入り口です。赤の矢印に従い渡ってください。
: This is the entrance of footbridge. Please follow the red arrow.

D: 歩道橋よりD地点を。歩道に従い橋に向かいます。緑のサイクリングロードは橋をくぐるので、お間違えのないようにご注意。
: Seeing the D point from the footbridge. You will go along the sidewalk to the bridge next. The green aisle is a cycling course and does not lead you to the bridge, please be careful not to along this green aisle.
E: 橋の上はこのような感じです。
: The view on the bridge is like below

①橋を渡って(or バス停から)少し進むと、登山道の案内があります。
: After few minutes' walk from bridge (Bus stop), you can find guidepost to the mountain trail.

①登山道入り口の階段です
: This is the stairs at the entrance of the mountain trail.
②10分ほどこのきつい階段が続きます。焦らず、ゆっくり上りましょう。
: We need to go up these steep stairs about 10 minutes, please walk slowly and do not be in hurry.

③階段を登った後の景色です。一気に歩きやすくなります。
: This is the view after you go up the stairs. You can walk easier.
④マンション方向や南側の綺麗な景色が待っています(＾＾)
: Beautiful scene of apartment side and south side are waiting for you (＾＾)
⑤この後はきつい上り坂はありません。5分程度整備された登山道を歩きます。
After we see tall apartments, there are no steep slopes, just walk in around 5 minutes' walk on well maintenance trail.
