■概要: SummaryHAECOポイントは、25Lエンド周辺にある一連の撮影ポイントです。特に整備会社HAECO工場の側のポイントは、25L離陸機が山をバックに離陸をしていくのを撮影する有名なポイントです。
HAECO point is a series of spotting points which are located along with the end of 25L. Especially, one of them that is located beside HAECO aircraft maintenance factories is the famous spotting point that provides us the famous angles on which airplanes take off 25L with mountain back.
エンドをぐるりと道路があるので、いろいろなアングルを楽しめます。
As a road being along with the runway end, we can enjoy various of angles.
また、07Rに降りる機体も撮れます。

And we also can see 07R landings.

バス停から25Lの先まで歩いて15分～20分が目安です。
It takes around 15 minutes to 20 minutes on foot from bus stop to the end of 25L.
直射日光の中歩き回ることになるので本気で各便を攻める場合は体調管理は必須です。
But moving a lot under such no shade environment, we need to take much care of our health as well as seeking our best spotting points.

■ターゲット: Targets
(※)・07C↓
滑走路2本体制だった頃にHAECOポイントでの定番構図だった07C降り(当時は07L降り)ですが、2025年12月現在の運用ではほとんど見られません 。
07C landings, (07L landing before 3 runway operation), used to be a famous target at HAECO point are now rarely seen under current operation. (at the time in December 2025).
07Cに降りてくる機体はHAECO工場付近の岩場にいれば、真横まで撮れます。
All airplanes approaching to 07C can be seen from on the rocks near HAECO factories. We can take their right beside shots.
将来空港の滑走路運用が変わり、07Cへの着陸が増えたら役に立つこともあるかもしれません。
This point would be useful for taking them if airport change operation trends and use 07C for landing again in the future.
・25C↑
基本的に背景は空のみ、建物の後ろからいきなり飛び出してきますが、25C↑もHAECO工場近くから撮ることができます。
Their backs should be only sky, and planes may suddenly come from the back of buildings, but 25C↑ also can be seen from near HAECO factories.
・25L↑
25L離陸機を撮影する時は、滑走路に対してぐるっと道路があるので、ターゲットの上がり方や撮りたい構図に合わせて移動することで、(ターゲットが予想通りの角度で上がれば,,,)撮りたい絵を撮ることができます。
As there being a road along with 25L end, expecting how our targets ascend, we can find our best spotting points for the angles we aim (and can get them if our targets take off as we expected,,,)
主に昼過ぎからHAECO工場近くのあたりで撮影されている方が多いように思います。
いろいろ動けるので、撮りたい構図がある場合は、便の上がりを考えて、歩き回るといろいろ撮れます。
Many spotters seem to start spotting around HAECO factories in the afternoon.
As the spotting area here being so wide, we can find out best points for the angles we want by moving and expecting the angles our targets take off.

2025年12月現在の運用では、上がりは07R/25Lと07C/25Cに割り当てているようですので、HAECO工場付近にいれば、構図にこだわらなければ、25運用時は上がりは全機見ること(※撮れるとは言ってません)はできると思います✨️
According to the runway operation trends in December 2025, airport seem to allocate all departure flights to 07R/25L and 07C/25C, so if you do not have any particular angles, under 25 operations, you may see (I do not mean take) all departures from beside HAECO factories, I think. ,✨
・25L↑(冬や夏の午前中: Winter ＆ summer morning)
背景が空だけになりますが、冬や夏の午前中は南側の方が順光になりますので、25L南側が撮影ポイントになります。
The back should be only sky but, in winter and the morning in summer, airplanes taking off 25L can be seen following to the light from south side. So we should visit the points located on south side of the 25L end.

〜3本体制から増えた構図〜
〜The angles which can be seen more after 3 runway operation started〜
3本体制から主に貨物便(旅客便も増えました)ですが、07Rへの降りが増えました。(◍•ᴗ•◍)
Most of them being cargo flights (and some passenger flights), but after Hong Kong airport started 3 runway operation, I can say, the number of 07R/25L landings increased. (◍•ᴗ•◍)
07Rに降りてきた場合は道路の照明が気になりますが撮れないことはありません。
When planes land to 07R, we also can take them, but some streetlights may bother our shots, we need to find the point to clear them.

=昔07L降り(現在の07C↓)を撮影していたポイントです。
This point is on the rock near HAECO factories, for taking 07C↓.

HAECO工場側のポイントです。
This point is beside HAECO factories. 
25L↑については、本当に上がり高い近距離便やビジネスジェットなどの小型機どこから撮影してもお腹だけですが、近距離便でも背景に山が入ったり、前気味に撮影することができます。
As of 25L↑, wherever we stand, small aircrafts such as business jets and shot range flights can be seen only bottom but some short-range flights with large aircrafts sometimes can be seen with mountain back.
なお、フェンス側に駐機している機体がある場合は、尾翼等に撮影機が隠れる場合があります。
However, if some planes park beside the fences, their tails hide targets on some shots taken.
また、25C↑も撮ることができます。
And we can take 25C↑.

⇧上がりの高いKE748を前から撮影。場所はHAECO工場近くの背の高い岩からです。
: Seeing KE748 which took off higher. It was seen from on the large rock near HAECO factory.

この場所からの25C↑の撮影は3本滑走路運用開始以降はまだなく、2016年7月1日に撮影したサンプルの1回(当時は25R↑)しか経験ない点ご了承ください。m(_ _)m💦
As of taking 25C↑, I have not tried them here after airport started 3 runway operations, and not had enough chances, actually had only sample's one case on 1st July 2016 (it was 25R↑ then)...I hope you can understand my situation. m(_ _)m💦

場所は空港内の背の高いシェードが終わったあたりの岩の上です。
This point should be on the rocks near the end of tall shades inside airport. 
この辺りでは07R降り機および25L離陸の長距離便を山バックで撮影できます。
At this point we can enjoy seeing both 07R landing and long-range flights taking off 25L with mountain back.

⇧照明を避ければうまい具合に背景が山になります。
We may see 07R↓ well mountain back by finding the point where traffic lights don't bother the angles.
・25L↑
⇧上がりが低いと背景のほとんどが山になります。
Taking long range 747s taking off 25L.
If flight is heavy and takes off lower, most of its back should be mountain like this.

場所は、高い道路の照明が低い照明に変わるあたりです。
The point where tall streetlights change to small lights.
構図は25L離陸の長距離便を前から撮影する感じです。
長距離便に対して迫力のある絵が撮れますが、近距離便など上がりが高い便の大半がおなか撮影にあり、犠牲になります(苦笑)
The target angles are front shot of long-range flights taking off 25L.
This place helps us to take such powerful shot with long-range flights but, in turn, for short-range flights, we can only see their bottoms, all shots in vain. (｡ﾉω＼｡)

⇧滑走路端まで行けば、もちろん真下構図も撮れます。✨
By going to the end of runway, of course, we can enjoy powerful shots of right below angles of 07R landings.✨
☆滑走路南側: South side of the runway☆
夏の午前中や冬の場合、HAECO工場周辺からだと、逆光になりますがが、空バックですが、南側に移動すると順光になります。
In summer morning and whole day in winter, the photos taken beside HAECO factories should be back to the light.
Their back should be only sky but we can see them following to lights by going to south side of the runway.
撮影できる範囲が広いので便に合わせて歩き回ることになります。
South side area also being so wide that we can select the best points for our targets, so we are to move many times expecting the angles our targets take off.
南側で活動する場合は、バスは終点まで行かずに一つ前の停留所の『政府飛行服務隊( Government Flying Services) 』の方が近いと思います。
If we want to visit there, it should be better to get off the bus one stop before the last stop, the stop name is 『政府飛行服務隊 (Government Flying Services) 』.
エンドまでは『政府飛行服務隊 (Government Flying Services) 』のバス停から徒歩15-20分程度です。
It should be 15-20 minutes' walk to the end of runway from 『政府飛行服務隊 (Government Flying Services) 』 bus stop.

南側のポイントのうち25Lエンド寄り、長距離便向けのポイントです。
This south side point is for taking long range flights, located 25L end side.
空港内の背の高いシェードが終わったあたりに近い岩場で、岩に登って高さを稼ぐ(フェンスクリア)形になります
This point can be found near the end of the tall shades outside airport. We are to stand on the rocks (to get height for clearing the fence).

南側のポイントのうち近距離便向けのポイントです。ヘリの格納庫周辺かなと思います。
For the short-range flights, it should be near helicopters hangers.

〈ご注意: Attentions〉
当然ですが、目的地や搭載量(搭乗率)、当日の気温や風の強さなどで上がる角度は日によって違うので、想定以上に高く(低く)上がって、望んでいた絵が撮れないこともあります。
It must be common sense that the angles on which planes take off should be different by its flight range, the weight of cargos, number of passengers, temperature, winds and so on.
There have been many failure shots because my targets took off higher (lower) than my expect.
機体との間に道路があるので、バスやトラックなどの背の高い車が通過した時は、遮られます。また、空港側のフェンスをクリアするためなど、高い岩を選ぶこともあると思いますが、岩の上は足場が悪いので、要注意です。

On these pints, there is a road between planes and us, if tall vehicles, especially buses and tracks, pass by they must bother our shots. And if you select large rocks to clear the fences on airport side, please be careful of yourselves because staying on the rock is in danger.

■撮影環境: Conditions
①使用レンズ: Lenses
・07C↓
07Cに降りてくる機体だと、HAECO工場周辺で撮影の場合、一番近い辺りでフルサイズで300mm～が必要になります。同じく400mmで777が画面いっぱいです。
Trying to take the planes approaching 07C from near HAECO factory, we need 300mm～ at the nearest point (full size) likewise if you try 400mm, B777s are taken with almost no margins.
・25L↑
25運用の日に山をバックに25L離陸機を撮影する場合は、低い便で山を入れると100mm～になると思います。
Trying to take 25L↓, if we take mountain back photos, we need 100mm～, especially when you take heavy flights with full mountain back.
②光線状況: Sun light conditions
・07C↓
概ね午前中順光で夕方から逆光になります。夏至の季節(5月後半～7月いっぱい)は07C降り機でも一日逆光かよくてトップライト気味になります。
Most shots follow to the light in the morning and gradually get back to the light from late afternoon except in summer solstice season (from late May to top of August), this period they are back to the light all day.
冬は夕方以外は一日順光のイメージで、1日中いることもあります。冬の晴れた朝だと澄んだ空気と視程で綺麗に撮れます。
In winter you can enjoy almost all shots following to the light, especially in the sunny morning with clear air and visibility
・25L↑
夏だと午後から順光のイメージです。夏至の季節は午前中も撮りやすい光線状況です。
夏の25運用の日は光に合わせて午前中は(※)T2 Sky Deckまたは車寄せ(南)で、午後に逆光になり始めたらこちらに移動する人もいるようです。
In summer, most of shots following to the light from afternoon, especially in summer solstice season (from late May to beginning of August) we can enjoy them from late morning.
Some spotters seem to move along with the sun, they visit (※) T2 Sky Deck or carriage porch (south) in the morning and start to move here when they see planes get back to the light.
・25L↑(冬: Winter)
(あまりないですが: should be rare cases)
冬の25運用の日に山をバックに25L離陸機を撮影しても一日逆光になりますので、反対側(南側)に回れば、空バックになりますが順光で撮影することができます
If we try to take 25L taking off with mountain back in winter all of them should be back to the light, it should be better to go opposite side (= south side) of runway. We can take shots with following to the light but no back (= only the sky) .
■注意事項: Attentions
【このポイント全般 : applicable to all points】
①トイレや日陰等がない
: No toilets, No shades,,,
日陰がないので、特に夏は非常に暑いです。少しの滞在でもすぐに日焼けしてしまいますので、日焼け止めや熱中症対策の水分や帽子、日傘にもなるので急な雨用にも傘の用意を強くオススメします。
There being no shades, it is quite hot in summer and it must burn us soon even in a short stay. I strongly recommend you prepare sunscreens or hats against sunburn and prepare sufficient water against heatstroke, and umbrella for strong sunlight and sudden rains.
トイレもありませんので、来る前か、帰りに空港か駅周辺にしかないので、体調にも余裕を持って、早めの行動をオススメします。
And there also being no toilets, we only can go some before or after come here (at airport or at the station.)
②バスの本数が少ない(20分に1本)
: Less bus services (Every 20 minutes)
20分に1本程度しか便がないので、特に来るときはターゲットまで余裕を持ってお来しください。
Buses come here approximately in every 20 minutes, so especially when you come here, please expect much extra time before your targets.
空港からは乗換えで約40分前後ですが、乗換えが悪いとかなり待つので、1時間程度は見込んだ方がいいと思います。
I believe it should usually take around 40 minutes from / to airport include changing buses but, in case for the bad connections, I guess it should be better to leave airport / here at least one hour before to your next target.
③周辺に売店・自販機等なし
: No stores and vending machines
周辺にはお店や自販機の類もありませんので、補充ができません。水分や食料等は予定より多めに準備されることをオススメします。下記のようなケースも考慮して、、、
There are no stores and vending machines around here so we cannot get any supplies. Please prepare waters and foods more than you expect to consider below reason,,,
香港は魅力的な便が多いので、ターゲットを撮ったら後すぐ帰れるだとうと思っていたら、ターゲットが出てこないや、Flightraderを見ていたら撮りたい飛行機が来たので待つなど、結果長時間滞在になることもよくあります(笑)
There are many attractive flights come to Hong Kong airport, even you plan to leave soon at first, you may encounter such cases as that you are forced to stay long due to your targets delays or Flightradar may find other attractive targets.
④大型車両に注意
: Be careful of large vehicles
整備工場の搬入車両(時々エンジンを積んだトレーラーが通ります)だけでなく第3滑走路の工事のゲートも近いので、バスも含めて、大型トラックも頻繁に通るので注意
There are some gates not only of HAECO factories but also of airport construction near here. Many large vehicles to HAECO (you may see the some transporting airplane engines) , for construction works and also buses come, please be careful of them.
⑤歩き回る時は体調に注意
: Be careful when you walk around
立ち位置で絵作りが変えられる分、本気で各便を攻めると直射日光の中頻繁に歩き回る上ことになるので体調管理に注意
We being able to choice the best angles of our targets as we like, it may force us to walk around for seeking that angles in sunny hot days. This must make us exhausted soon, please take care of your health as well as photographing.
⑥たくさんの人が集まります
: Many people come here
景色がいいので飛行機撮影以外にもたくさんの人が集まります(特に夕陽の時間帯)ので、マナーよく。
Here also being famous for viewing point for sunset, many people come here and enjoy taking photos. So please keep good manners.
警察車両や交通整理の車も頻繁に来て違法駐車や危ないことをしている人を注意していることがあります。飛行機の撮影者に関しては寛容なようですが、念のためご注意ください。
And polices and traffic controls come here many times for alerting illegal parking and the people who act something dangerous. I have rarely seen they alerting airliner photographers but please be careful of them.
【特に岩場では : Especially when you are on the rocks】
①岩の上に立たれた際は、バランスを崩さないように注意
Standing on the rock is quite danger, please stand carefully of your balances.
②各岩が大きい分隙間も深いので、物を落とすと返ってきません。私は一度夜に携帯電話を落として大変なことになりました。持ち物は常に注意して見張っておいてください。
All rocks are really large and make deep gaps, if we drop something, they must never come back to us. I once have dropped my mobile into a gap at night, I spent really crazy long time then. Please always carefully watch your belongings.
■アクセス : Access
空港からだとS1またはS56のバスにお乗りいただき、東涌駅でS52『飛機維修區 Aircraft Maintenance Area』にお乗換えいただくと、終点がHAECOポイント周辺になります。空港からは概ね40分程度で移動できますが、S52のバスは20分に1本しかないので、乗り継ぎが悪いと1時間以上かかることもあるので、ターゲットがある場合は、1時間は余裕を持って移動された方がいいと思います。東涌駅のバス停の配置は2019年6月現在下記のようになっています。S52のバス停は行きと帰りのバス停が並んでいるので、必ずバスの表示は番号だけでなく行き先も見てからご乗車ください。なお、バス停も5月に変わったばかりです。バス停周辺も工事中なので、突然変わることがあるのでご注意ください。(ここ半年で3回変わっています)
→慣れた人向け乗り換え情報
From airport, please take S1 or S56 bus and get off at 東涌(Tung Chung) station. And please change bus to S52『飛機維修區 Aircraft Maintenance Area』, the last stop is around HAECO point. Usually, it takes around 40 minutes from airport to HAECO point but S52 bus come every 20 minutes, so if connection is bad, it may take around 1 hour so if you have any target airplane, please make sure to leave at least 1 hour before it. The bus stop map at 東涌(Tung Chung) station is as below. Please be careful that the S52 bus stop to 『飛機維修區 Aircraft Maintenance Area』is next to from one. So please carefully see not only the No of the line but also the destination. The bus stops were re-arranged just in May (it was 3rd time in this half year), bus terminal is still under re-arrangement, they may change again in the future, please be sure of it when you come.

なお、午前中にS52Pが来ることがありますが、途中までですので、S52Pには乗らないでください。
: This is the destination information board. Please wait at S52『飛機維修區 Aircraft Maintenance Area』. In the morning, you may see S52P, it does not go the the last stop, please do not take S52P.
③バスに乗ったら一番前か右側の座席がオススメです(＾＾)もちろん一番前が楽しいですが、右側に座れば滑走路脇を走るときに、HAECO工場内が見渡せるので、思わぬ発見があることがあります。一度激レアジャンボの尾翼を発見して捕獲に成功したことがあります(＾∀＾)画像は
貨物ターミナル周辺を走行中の画像です。アトラスが2機います。貨物エリア周辺でもこれから出発する貨物機の偵察にもなります☆
: I recommend you take front seat or right side one (＾＾). Of course, the front one is the fun, and you can see around HAECO factory from right side seat when the bus runs beside runway. In the past I found the tail of very rare 747 and I could take photos of it later(＾∀＾) The photo was taken at Asia Airfreight Terminal. You can see 2 Atlas 747. You can also know what freighters will take off later. ☆
④終点の飛機維修區 Aircraft Maintenance Areaに着いた後の画像です。HAECO周辺へはバスが来た道を少し戻るだけです。
: This is after we arrive at last stop 飛機維修區 Aircraft Maintenance Area, you can reach HAECO point by just few minutes walking back the way. 
※慣れた方への乗り換え情報 : To the person who knows well.
HAECOポイントと空港との行き来は、安全と分かりやすさから上記の東涌駅経由をご紹介していますが、空港からの場合は、結果同じバスになる場合もありますが、最短は飛行機燃料庫で乗り換え、空港へ向う場合はキャセイシティーで降りて、空港へ向う他のバスに乗換えという方法もあります。
本当に一番早いのはもちろんタクシーです(笑)、だいたいHKD120-150くらいします。一番理想なのは、それくらい急がないといけないような緊急のポイント移動がないことですが(＾＾；)
I introduced the access between airport and HAECO point by the one via 東涌(Tung Chung) station for the safety and simpleness reason. The shortest one from airport should be the one changing bus at 飛行機燃料庫(Airport Fuel Tank Farm), but it may end to take same bus as you change at Tung Chung station, and to the airport should be the one changing bus at Cathay City to other buses going to airport.
The fastest way is, of course, by taxi. It may cost around HKD120 to 150. But what we want the most is these kinds of urgent moves never happen (＾＾；).
