【概要 :Summary】
クアラルンプール国際空港(英: Kuala Lumpur International Airport/マレー: Lapangan Terbang Antarabangsa Kuala Lumpur)はマレーシアで最も大きい国際空港で、クアラルンプール中心部から43kmの距離に位置しています。
空港コードはIATAがKULでICAOがWMKKです。3つのターミナルと4000mの滑走路3本(14R/32L, 14L/32R, 15/33)を有しており、マレーシア航空やエアアジアの主要空港となっています。
Kuala Lumpur International Airport(Malay:Lapangan Terbang Antarabangsa Kuala Lumpur ) is the biggest airport in Malaysia. It is located 43km from central of Kuala Lumpur.
Airport code is KUL(IATA) and WMKK(ICAO). It has 3 terminals and 3 runways with 4,000m(14R/32L, 14L/32R and 15/33).
KUL is the main airport of Malaysia airlines and AirAsia.
【3つのターミナル :3 Terminals】
メインターミナル(KLIA1): Main Terminal(KLIA1)
「森の中の空港、空港の中の森」をコンセプトにサテライトAと共に黒川紀章が設計、日本のゼネコンが工事を行い1998年6月30日に開港しました。KLIA1とも呼ばれます。メインターミナルは主にマレーシア国内線や、短距離国際線が利用しており、マレーシア航空と時々Malindoを見るくらいです。なので、737ばかりです。
Main terminal and satellite A were designed with the concept “Airport in the forest.Forest in the airport” by Kisho Kurokawa and constructed by Japanese general constructors and opend on 30th June 1998. It is called “KLIA1”.Main terminal is used mostly by Malaysia airlines and sometimes by Malindo for their domestic flights or short international flights, so most of ships you can see are 737.
サテライトターミナルA: Satellite Terminal A
メインターミナルの向かいにあるサテライトターミナルで、メインターミナルから全自動のターミナル間連絡鉄道(エアロトレイン)で結ばれています。主に長距離国際線や大型機が利用しています。
It is located on opposite side from main terminal and linked to main terminal with full-automated connection train (Aerotrain). it is used for long range flights and for large aircrafts.
KLIA2
2014年にKLIA1から西に2kmの位置に開業したLCC専用ターミナルです。三井アウトレットモールが併設されていますので、買い物や食事等も楽しめる構造になっています。KLIA1とは鉄道や無料のシャトルバスで結ばれています
2006年から2014年の間は正反対の位置で現在の貨物エリアの位置に一時的なLCCターミナルがありましたが、限界が来たので、エアアジアが自社新空港を建設しようとしたところ、当時の首相が認可を出さず、KLIA2を建設した経緯があります。
It was opened as LCC terminal in 2014 at 2km west from KLIA1. It was constructed together with outlet malls, you can enjoy shopping and reataurants. It is connected to KLIA1 by train or free shuttle buses.
There used to be a temporary LCC terminal at right opprsite side of airport, where currently cargo terminal is located, from 2006 to 2014. Old LCC terminal was desigined to change cargo terminal afterward.When Airasia found the capacity had got full, they tried to construct their own airport but the prime minister then did not approve their plan and he ordered KLIA2.
【滑走路運用 :Runway Operations】
正確にデータを取っているわけではないですが、どちらかというと北風32(33)運用の方が多いように思います。過去に10回程度行っていますが、南風14(15)運用だったのは夏の訪問の1回だけです。時々フライトレーダーでマレーシアの様子も見ていますが、14(15)運用は主に夏に見られるように思います(私の経験では６月～９月)
I do not have any records by myself so it is just from my experiments but remember I have seen there are more north wind operation (32・33 opearation ) than south wind operarions (14・15 operations). I have visited KUL about 10 times in the past I saw south wind operation only 1 time in summer. I sometimes see KUL opearations by flightrader, I can say most of south wind operations (14・15 operation) were in summer.(Just seen from my experiments, it should be from June to September)
北風32(33)運用の時は、KLIA1のエアラインが主に32Lに降りて、32Rから離陸しているようです。エアアジアなどのLCCはもっぱら33に降りますが、一部が32Lに降りることもあります。あと、稀にですが、KLIA1のエアラインの一部が32Rに降りることもあります。
なお、一時期32Lの機器の故障で32L離陸、32R着陸を見たことがあります。故障以外にも年に数回程度はあるようで、故障の時期以外でも遭遇したことがあります。
南風の14(15)着陸の場合は、フライトレーダーを見ていると、14L着陸14R離陸(LCCは15降り、15上がり)のようですが、一度だけ私が遭遇した南風運用の日は14R降りで14L離陸でした。
Under north wind opeeration(32・33 operation), most flights related KLIA 1 land to 32L and take off from 32R, most of those related to KLIA2 land to and take off from 33. However It is not applicable to all flights, I saw some flights related to KLIA1 landed to 32R, some flights related KLIA2 landed to 32L and some flights related to KLIA2 took off from 32L.
And I saw some 32L departures and 32R arrivals when there were system trouble occuerd and some time a year.
Under south wind operations (14・15 opertions), I saw flights related to KLIA1 landed to 14L and took off from 14R but the 1 time I encountered was 14L departures and 14R arrivals.
【ターゲット :Targets】
本拠地にしているマレーシア航空やエアアジアの機体をたくさん見ることができるだけでなく、中東とも繋がりがあるので、イラク航空やマハーン航空、サウジアラビアなどの中東のエアラインも多く見られます。昔はイラン航空が最後の747SPの定期便を運航していたので有名です。特にサウジアラビアやエミレーツ，カタールなどは毎日数便が飛来しいます。
We can see not only many fleets of Malaysia airlines and Airasia which base KUL but also can see many flights of middle east airlines such as Iraqui airlines, Mahan Air and Saudia , thanks to the relationships between Malaysia and middle east countries. Especially Emirates, Saudia and Qator have several flights in a day.And, in the past, Iran air used to have the last regular flight with their 747SP.
・ハッジフライト :Hajji Flights
イスラム教の巡礼の時期ではハッジフライトと呼ばれる巡礼のチャーター便が運行されることもあります。2018年もfly nasの747のチャーター便が見られました。なお、来ない年もあったり、最近だとエアアジアがジッダ線を開設したり、マレーシア航空がハッジフライトにA380を投入したりと、供給が増えているので、今後どうなるかは分かりません。flynasの747は最近フルカラーになったようなので、チャーター便で入ることがあるなら、もちろん私は捕獲に向かいます(＾∀＾)
During the pilgrimage periods of Islam, there are some charter flights for pilgrimage called hajj flight. I could see some hajj flights by 747 of flynas in 2018. But it seems not to be seen every year, I saw some year with no such flights so we need to check the flights carefully.
These days, Airasia started new flights to Jedda and Malaysia airlines started operating some flights to Jedda with A380, there may be more supplies than in the past so I cannot say anything about the future but I must come to KUL if I see some hajj flights by flynas 747 because they have changed their colors to new original full color(＾∀＾)
【放置ジャンボ :Left 747】
ご存知の方も多いと思いますが、マレーシアには何機か放置されているクラシックジャンボがあります。有名な機体でKLIA1の14L/32R側の2機があると思います。
その他、ターミナルからは見づらいですが、整備地区エリアにも1機いましたが、こちらは解体が進んでいるかもしれません。そのほかにも、時期によっては、整備地区に747-400が何機かいることもありました。
Many people have already known, but there are some classic 747s are placed in KUL. Those the most famous are the 2 beside 14L/32R.
It is difficult to be seen from terminals but I used to see 1 at maitenance area but they might started to dissemble it. And I remember I saw some 747-400s at maitenance area some times in the past.I guess they were wating for their color changed.↑↑: 有名な14L/32R脇の２機: The famous 2 placed beside 14L/32R

【市内へのアクセス :Access to the city】
鉄道とバスで市内へ行くことができます。鉄道の場合、KLIAエクスプレスに乗れば、KLIA1から市内まで28分で到達できます。
You can reach city by bus or train. If you take KLIA Express(train) it should be 28 minutes from KLIA1 to the city.
【気候 :Climates】
気候は熱帯雨林気候に属して、非常に高温で湿度が高いです。朝夕に雷を伴うスコールが降ることもよくあります。ターミナル内で室内から撮れる有名なポイントもありますが、ターミナルの外で撮影する場合は、暑さには注意をした方がいいと思います。
KUL belongs to Tropical rainforest climate so it is very hot and has high humidity. And there may some squalls with thunders on the morning or evening. You can take planes from inside KLIA1 but other points are outside so you need take care of the heats.
