【Hong Kong Int'l Airport Spotting Point】 ～T1 Sky Deck～
香港国際空港は、ターミナルの外からだけでなくターミナル内、出発時や到着時の制限エリア内でも素敵な写真を撮ることができます。
At Hong Kong International Airport, we can enjoy airliner spotting not only from outside of airport terminal, but also from inside, I mean from restricted areas.
全てのゲートのアングルをご案内することは難しいですが、過去に撮影した画像からいくつかご案内します。
It being impossible to show all angles at each gate, but I'd like to introduce some sample photos which I took in the past.
こちらのページでは第1ターミナルの出発階にあるT1スカイデッキからの撮影をご紹介します。
On this page, I'd like to introduce the photos taken at T1 Sky Deck on Terminal 1 departure floor.

■2つのスカイデッキ: 2 Sky Deck
現在香港国際空港には『スカイデッキ』と言う撮影ポイントが2箇所存在します。
1つ目は昔からある有名な第2ターミナルのスカイデッキですが、2019年から閉鎖になり、再開の情報は出ておりません。
もう一つが、今回ご紹介する第1ターミナルのスカイデッキで、2022年に第1ターミナルの制限エリア内にオープンしたものです。
In Hong Kong Int'l airport, there are 2 spotting points named Sky Deck.
The one is located on Terminal 2 and is known as famous spotting point. But it has been closed from 2019 and there is no information about its reopening.
The another is, the one introduced on this page, which was opened in Terminal 1 restricted area in 2022.

T2スカイデッキへ: To T2 Sky Deck

当サイトでは使い分けのため、第2ターミナルのスカイデッキを『T2スカイデッキ』、第1ターミナル出発階のスカイデッキを『T1 スカイデッキ』と呼称します。
To distinguish these 2 Sky Deck, this HP call them as『 T2 Sky Deck』 for the first one and 『T1 Sky Deck』 for the second one.
■概要: Summary
T1 Sky DeckはSky Bridgeの北端にある展望室です。
The (New) Sky Deck is an observation deck located on the north end of the Sky Bridge.
空港北側や第1ターミナルの一部を見下ろせる他、サテライトターミナルも高い位置から見下ろせます。
We can look down a part of Terminal 1 and Satellite Terminal from high eye point. 
また、Sky Bridgeや新しく生れかわる空港を案内したパネルや模型、映像なども充実しています。
※変わっている可能性もあります。
And there are many exhibitions, such as panels, movies and models which explain new airport plans and Sky Bridge. They will make you fun I believe.

⇩入ってすぐ、左手にはサテライトターミナルの南側を見下ろせます。
: Just entering T1 Sky Deck, we can look down the south part of the satellite terminal on our left side.
⇩奧まで進むと、サテライトターミナルの東側を見下ろせます。
: Going inside more, in turn, we can look down the east part of the satellite terminal. 
⇩Sky Deckの端からは第1ターミナルの北東面の一部が見下ろせます。
: At the end of Sky Deck, we can look down a part of northeast side of the terminal 1. 
⇩対岸の山や中央滑走路(07C/25C)、海側(07L/25R)滑走路方向も見えます。25運用なら降りてくる機体も見れます。
: We can see the mountain on the opposite side of the sea, center runway (07C/25C) and seaside runway (07L/25R), and the airplanes approaching to them when airport operates 25.

。。。ガラス越しなので、機体全体にキレイにピントは合わせるのは難しいと思います。(｡ﾉω＼｡))
,,,Due to taking them through thick glasses, it should be difficult to catch focus to airplane's whole body, I believe. (｡ﾉω＼｡))
■撮影条件: Conditions
・窓の色: Color of the windows
色のついていない、または、薄い窓もありますが、一部の窓には青緑がかった色がついている場合がありますので、Rawで撮影して、後で直しましょう。
Most of the windows seem to have almost no color or have light color but there are some with strong blue green colors, we should take photos at Raw and adjust later.
・光線状況: Light conditions
第1ターミナルは東西にYの形で伸びていますので、時間帯によって光線状況はわります。
The shape of Terminal 1 is Y and it lies east and west, sun light conditions at each gate are different from morning and afternoon
・映り込み: reflection
窓の色はSky Bridgeと比べると薄いように感じましたが、映り込みは激しいように思います。レンズを窓に対して垂直に向けても、小さい忍者レフだと役に立ちませんでした。
(詳しくないので、巨大なら役に立つかは不明ですが)
Just on my first impression, the color of the windows is a little weak compared with those on Sky Bridge, but the reflections are strong, I believe.
Even facing lenses vertically to the windows, my small anti-reflection could not work well.
(But, I'm not familiar with reflections, I do not mean larger one can work well)

⇧まずは、サテライトターミナルの南側を見下ろした感じ。
: The first, looking down the south side of the satellite terminal.
⇧サテライトターミナルの東側を見下ろした感じ。
: Looking down the east side of the satellite terminal.
⇧第1ターミナルからスポットアウトする機体
: The airplanes which are spotting out from terminal 1.
⇧Sky Bridge の下を通らずに第1ターミナルにスポット・インする機体。
: An airplane which is spotting into terminal 1 without passing under Sky Bridge.
⇧25運用時に第3滑走路(25R)に着陸する機体.
: The airplane which is approaching to the 3rd runway (25R) under 25 operations.
■注意事項その他: Attention and other info
・長居に注意: Be careful staying long
特に自分の便のゲートから離れた位置で撮影していて、撮影に集中するあまり、最終搭乗案内の時間が来て、放送で自分の名前が呼ばれるなんてこともあるかもしれません。
When you take photos on the departure floor, concentrating spotting too much may cause the case as that, especially staying another gate which is far from your flight's gate, makes your name announced when your flight on final call.
搭乗開示時間はしっかり確認の上、遅れないようこまめに時間は確認しましょう。
To avoid such cases, please do not forget your flight boarding time and to check time regularly
・身の回り品に注意
: Please always watch your belongings
目を離しがちになるので、身の回り品は目の届く自分の側に置き、盗まれないようにしましょう。
When you take photos, you may take your eyes off from them must be dangerous.
To avoid them stolen, please always keep them beside you.
