大灣區航空は香港ベースの新しいエアラインで、エアラインコードはHBです。大灣區航空は深圳東海航空の会長である黄楚标氏が、20億香港ドルの初期投資をして設立したLCCです。今年1月にはキャセイドラゴン航空元CEOの丘应桦氏をCEOに任命したそうです。
路線は、航空運輸許可局に104路線を申請。 104路線のうち48路線は中国本土の都市で、日本も13都市が入っていて、その他の都市はソウルやシンガポール、バンコク、プーケットなどが入っているそうです。
Greater Bay Airlines is a new Hong Kong Based LLC, and its airline code is "HB". It was established with HKD2billion as the first investment by Mr.Bill Cho Bau, the chairman of Shenzhen Donghai Airlines. He also appointed Mr. Tommy Kwong to CEO of Greater Bay Airlines, he used to be the CEO of Cathay Dragon Airlines.
Greater Bay Airlines is now applying 104 destinations to the air transport authorization. 48 China domestic cities, 13 cities in Japan and other international cities, such as Singapore, Bangkok, Phuket and so on, are included this 104 destinations.
当初は2021年の第4四半期には運航を開始するとのことで、10月1日に北京へのチャーター便を飛ばすような話もありましたが、2021年12月に免許申請に関して、当局がヒヤリングを行うとのことで、このヒアリングの結果によっては就航開始時期が遅れることになりそうです。ヒヤリングに関しては、キャセイグループから現在の航空業界の直面している環境をもっとよく注視するべきだとの要請があったそうです。
Greater Bay Airlines originally planned to start operation in Q4 2021, including a charter flight to Beijing on 1st Oct. However air transportation authorization announced they will hold some public hearings related to permission of Grater Bay Airlines in December 2021. The result of them may cause postpone of launching operation. The reason to hold this public hearings is some requests from Cathay group to carefully see the sever current circumstances which airliners are facing under covid era these days.

■機材: Its fleets
現在機材として確認できるのは、上記のB-KJAで、機種はB737-800です。習熟訓練のためか毎日飛び回っています。飛び立ってそのまま周辺を飛んで戻ってくることもありますが、マカオや、時に台北の方まで飛んでいるようです。
The only fleets of them I can see now is this B-KJA. It should be its training flights, I guess, I can see it flies almost every day. Mostly it seems to fly around Hong Kong, to Macau and sometimes to Taipei,,,

このB-KJAは元ノルウェー航空が運航していた機体で、元のレジはEI-EVMです。広州で塗装作業が行われたそうです。2021年末までに3機まで増やして、2025年までに30機まで増やす計画だそうです。
This B-KJA belonged to Norwegian Air Shuttle in the past as EI-FVM. Its color was changed at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport. Greater Bay Airlines are planning to increase its fleets to 3 737-800s by the end of 2021, and finally increase them to 30 B737-800s by the end of 2025.
とにかく先述の通り、ほぼ毎日何かしら飛んでいるようなので、一日空港周辺にいたら、何度か目にする機会があります(＾∀＾)
As I described, it flies almost every day, I can see it sometimes in a day(＾∀＾)
