久しぶりに飛行機撮影と関係ないお話を。
No related matter with airplane spotting long time from last time.
先日パスポートの有効期限が来てしまったので、更新してきました。
こういう類はできれば日本でしたいのですが、コロナで帰れないので、仕方なく香港でパスポートを更新する羽目になりました。
My passport reached to expire day, I went to Japan embassy to replace it.
I wanted to do this kind of matter in Japan, but under this covid situation, I was forced to do in Hong Kong.
ちなみに有効期限の最終日に申請書を出してきました。
これは意図していたのではなく、サボっていたからです(＾∀＾;)
しかも、準備を始めたのも当日の朝(＾∀＾;)
Anyway, I submitted application form on the EXPIRE DAY.
I did not aim to do it on that day,,,just had been unwilling to do it(＾∀＾;)
In addition to it, I started preparing itself in the morning on that day(＾∀＾;)
結果から言うと、自分は当日作業開始でなんとかなりました(＾＾;)
Telling the end first, I managed to completed all just started on expire day(＾＾;)
①日本大使館のHPにアクセスして場所を確認する
Visited HP of Hong Kong Japan embassy and check the address of it.

②日本大使館のHPで申請書を見つける※正確には外務省へリンク
Found the application form at Japan embassy HP ※ Exactly, it is linked to HP of Ministry of Foreign Affairs Japan

③申請書に記入

↑: HP上で用意できる申請用紙。書き損じがないから結構便利(＾∀＾)
本籍と旧パスポートの番号さえ覚えていれば多分全部書ける(＾∀＾)
↑: Application form for replacing passport, which can be filled on the net. It enables us to avoid miswriting and re-filling all in again, very convenient(＾∀＾)
I believe we can complete all without anything prepared if we remember old passport No. and official registered family address(＾∀＾

⑥家でパスポート確保
Found passport at home
⑦家で証明写真を所定の大きさに切る
Cut out the ID photos to required size
⑧パスポートと、申請書、写真を持って日本大使館に行く
Visited Japan embassy with passport, application form and photos

⑨申請書とパスポートを渡し、受付票をもらう
Submitted written form and passport, and received reception slip

⑩大使館を出て会社に戻る
Left there and went back to office
～3営業日以降/After 3 business days～
⑪代金と受付票をもってまた日本大使館に行く
Visited Japan embassy again with money and reception slip
⑫新しいパスポートを確認して、内容に間違いがないか確認
Saw and checked the contexts of new passport to find any mistakes, if any
⑬間違いがなければ、新しいパスポートと古いパスポートを受け取る
No mistakes found and received new passport and old one

⑭ありがとうを言って大使館を出る←大事
Say "Thank you very much" with full of gratitude and left there ← Very important
⑮喉が乾いたので、帰りにジュースを飲む←大事
Feeling thirsty, bought some juices and drunk on the day to office ← Very important

もし、申し込みに行くのが1日遅れていたら、戸籍謄本が必要、つまり、実家の家族にお願いして発行してもらい、郵送で送ってもらう必要が出ていたと思います。
If I went applying there on the next day, they must requested me to submit FAMILY REGISTER COPY, this means I needed to ask my family to get one and mail to me.
